Seasonal Calendar
What's on across the Group
Festival weeks, winemaker dinners, whale season and the quiet months in between — the rhythm of a coastal year, venue by venue.
Winter Reds at the Gage
A month of Margaret River reds by the glass, mulled wine on the fire nights, and slow-cooked bistro specials. The front bar fireplace is going whether it needs to be or not.
First Friday Band Room — winter series
Local original music, doors 7.30pm, chalkboard lineup only. Gold coin for the surf club.
Winemaker Dinner: Wilyabrup Growers
Five courses matched to five growers from the Wilyabrup valley, hosted at one long table. 48 seats, always sells out.
Spring Menu Launch at The Promenade
One sitting, one long table, first taste of the spring à la carte before it hits the printed menu.
Whale Season on Geographe Bay
Humpbacks and southern rights off our stretch of coast. The tours desk runs morning boat trips and the Ridge House telescope gets a workout.
Fremantle Long Table Festival week
The Gage joins the port city’s food week — a long table down Anchorage Lane itself, weather and council permitting (both have form).
Wedding Season at Bay Retreat
Peak season on the lawn terrace. 2027–28 dates now open for enquiry through Seaview Events & Catering.
Christmas Functions open at the Grand
The ballroom and boardrooms turn festive. End-of-year packages from 20 to 300 guests — book before the good dates go.
New Year’s Eve on the Foreshore
Dinner at The Promenade, the balcony at Salt for the fireworks, and a very civilised recovery breakfast on the first.
